Creatives are often taught that their passions and talents aren’t lucrative—or sensible—before they’re even old enough to choose their own path in life. And many of us grew up believing it. Worse yet, many people decidedly rejected their creative passions in pursuit of more “practical” careers.

No matter your path, there was no right answer, but I can assure you that there is always space for every creative passion you have. And there are LOTS of people who need and want your art. You just need someone who can show you how to get your work to your people.

Twelve years ago, I quit my job with $600 in my bank account, no real idea about what the hell I was doing, and opened up shop. I needed to know that being a writer and an artist by nature didn’t automatically sentence me to a life of poverty and disillusionment. And I’m here to report that your creativity not only deserves to be valued, it is your most important asset. It is an insightful thing that will teach you the most about yourself, and it will create soul-shaking, moving pieces of art that will bring other people through their own feelings and connect them to you in ways you can’t yet imagine.

You just have to take the first step. And create.

Group Workshopping

The group workshop dynamic is a magical communal experience unlike anything else for a writer. Each week, the group will prepare to focus on one member’s manuscript, with everyone lending their own editorial perspective. By exploring each other’s work, you’ll be able to find new depths in your own.

Curated Lessons

Each week, the group will be given a curated workshop, designed specifically to fit the needs and wants of the group. Topics can include everything from character development to executing dialogue to story structure to managing the emotional journey of writing a book. This group is meant to be an incubator for its members, so our lessons will be designed as needed.

A Path to Publishing

Whether you aspire to score a literary agent, go indie, or self-publish, this workshop will give you all the knowledge and tools you need to embark on your own publishing path with confidence.
